Model DM201
The DM201 Station Monitor provides simultaneous verification of the primary language caption service, V-Chip, TSID and CGMS-A settings in a SDI video feed. The NTSC composite video output displays your program video overlaid with caption, V-Chip, TSID and CGMS-A data.
- Responds to all CGMS-A states as defined in EIA 608B.
- Responds to all rating systems as defined in EIA 744A.
- MPAA, TV Ratings, Canadian English & Canadian French.
- Continuous display of current CGMS-A and V-Chip states.
- Continuous display of NTSC Transmission Signal Identifier.
- Front panel LEDs show presence of Video, CC1 & V-Chip.

The EEG DM201 displays the CC1, CGMS-A, TSID and V-Chip Program Rating packet information encoded in Line 21. This monitor provides continuous verification of TSID, CGMS-A and V-Chip Blocking codes. The DM201 displays key Current Class and Channel Class packets if they are being transmitted. The front panel LEDs register Video present, CC1 present and V-Chip present.
The monitor display shows the rating in large letters to emphasize the V-Chip packet contents for rapid identification. "INVALID RATING" is displayed when there is no V-Chip packet being sent or if the recovered packet contains an invalid rating. If any of the other displayed XDS packets do not exist, those items will not be displayed.

The EEG SM101 displays the CGMS-A and Content Advisory (formerly Program Rating) packet information encoded in the Line 21, Field 2 Extended Data Services (XDS) data channel. This monitor provides continuous verification of the CGMS-A and V-Chip Blocking codes inserted by the EEG XDS Xpress system. The Monitor Video outputs contain an On Screen Display (OSD) of XDS data. The SM101 displays key Current Class and Channel Class packets if they are being transmitted. The front panel LEDs show Video present and Content Advisory data present.

The SM106 combines the functionality of six SM101 units in a 1U chassis, preserving important rack space in those environments having multiple network facilities. All the monitors are independent with each having its own input and output connectors.
