DE282 VANCMatte decoder

 

The DE282 VANCMatte decoder is a customized version of our DE280 HD Closed Caption Decoder which includes enhanced HD monitoring. The hardware platform for the 282 is identical to the 280, the difference being that additional VANC monitoring windows are displayed by the DE282.

EEG’s DE282 VANCMatte decoder not only creates an open caption display of EIA-708 caption data, it also provides monitor display windows for V-Chip data, PSIP data and Caption Activity. It also displays various network logos such as the company logo, Time/Temp, etc, in response to triggers received from upstream equipment.
