The DE285 follows the industry-leading DE280 in providing broadcast and post facilities with the most advanced HD open caption display for monitoring CEA-708 data quality and full standards compliance. DE285 adds a VANC monitoring suite with a long list of advanced features, including:
- Full-resolution HD output simultaneously showing captions and other VANC data
- AFD (Active Format Descriptors) decoding
- HANC embedded AES audio decoding with channel levels, peaks, and phase detection
- Audio metadata decoding
XDS decoding- Web-based VANC Analysis Tool for sifting and capturing live VANC data, sorted by line number or DID/SDID
- Programmable triggers with logging for packet drop-outs, changes, and more
