CB412 Digital Closed Caption Bridge - Closed Caption, XDS & URL Bridge

The EEG Model CB412 Closed Caption Bridge offers a simple means of maintaining a continuous two field Line 21 data service when processing of the encoded video signal is required. It has provision for processing either Analog or Digital video signals. The Model CB412 handles two video inputs simultaneously. It extracts the Line 21 data from the Source signal and inserts it into Line 21 of the Master signal.

Vertical caption position can be restricted via a GPI input. This allows broadcasters the ability to re-position captions so they do not interfere with graphics or emergency alert crawls appearing at the top or bottom of the picture.

System features included in the Closed Caption Bridge are :

* Source signal may be Analog or Digital
* Master signal may be Analog or Digital
* Two Master outputs for each video type
* Automatically selects the video signals being used
* Each Master Output 1 is by-pass protected
* Processes both fields of Line 21
* Front panel LEDs show bridge operation
* GPI Control Port
