Dual Caption Monitor
The EEG Model SM202 is a simultaneous two field caption decoder providing a simple means of verifying the encoding of two language captions. The SM 202 is built in a one rack unit high chassis and processes the input video's line 21 data from each field independently.

The Model SM202 Dual Caption monitor can operate with a video signal that may have captions encoded into either field or both fields. It will simultaneously decode both the CC1 and CC3 data channels and present the decoded outputs at the two independent Monitor Outputs. Once connected to the source and monitors, the SM 202 will provide continuous two field caption monitoring without any further operator involvement.
