The following upgrades are available for the listed equipment.

CB411 Closed Caption Bridge shipped prior to July 2000 - Caption Relocation Modification
Vertical caption position in the Master Video output can be controlled via GPI inputs. This allows broadcasters the ability to re-position captions so they do not interfere with graphics or emergency alert crawls appearing at the top or bottom of the picture.

EN470 Smart Encoder III - 601 Serial Digital Component Upgrade
Originally designed as an analog encoder the EN470 can be upgraded to alternately encode 601 video.

TE500 DTV Line 21 Transcoder - Support of SMPTE 333 Protocol
Originally designed to support the Grand Alliance Push Protocol this unit can be upgraded to additionally support SMPTE-333 Pull Protocol.
Equipment Cabling Notes
The default serial communcations parameters for all EEG encoders when shipped from the factory are 1200 baud, odd parity, 7 data bits, 1 stop bit.
