EEG CB512 Caption Legalizer

This upgrade requires build version 3.10 or higher.
Overview:
This version implements a new capability to relocate the 708 captioning to the left or right of a 16:9 screen.
Enhancement:
Added a GPI trigger with an extension of the normal GPI setup.
Programmable 708 caption mapping.
How to Upgrade
Use a PC with a built-in serial port. Use of a USB to Serial Adapter is not recommended since PromFlash results are inconsistent when performed with these devices and may result in damage to the CB512 prom.
1) Shut down any applications that are currently running on your PC.
2) Download the cb512v317.zip file from http://www.eegent.com/download/CB512/cb512v317.zip
The zip file contains the PromFlash install program which will install the PromFlash application and the required supporting files.
3) Unzip the file and run the install.
4) Flash the CB512 with the upgrade. To do this you must first connect the serial port of the PC (the PromFlash software defaults to COM1) to the SMPTE333/GA port of the CB512 unit. The connecting cable must be a straight- thru cable. After you've connected the PC to the encoder, run the EEG PromFlash application. Follow the flash instructions on the screen.
Note: If the application is unable to connect to the unit then the status bar in the lower left corner will display 'EEG Device Not Connected'. Verify your cabling and restart the PromFlash TM application. The Model description doesn't change and will not harm the load process.
