What's New in Release 1.1.2
EEG DE285 version 1.1.2 is a minor release; it includes some bug fixes and one new feature.
New Features
• Ability to filter VANC or HANC separately in Web tools Packet Display
Improvements
• Fewer writes to internal SD card, increasing product lifetime
• Fixed onscreen decoder’s handling of backspaces
How to Upgrade
This update includes changes to low-level firmware components of the decoder. Please be aware that the update may take 20-30 minutes.
If you have already installed 1.1.0 or newer, this upgrade will take approximately 2 minutes. However, if you have version 1.1.0, you must install the update through USB; installing through the website does not work. (Newer versions do not have this problem.)
Instructions (USB): Download the update file (eeg_upgrade.tar.bz2) to your local computer. Then copy the file to a USB thumb drive, and put the drive in the front panel USB slot on the DE285. Go to System Setup | Update on the DE285 front panel LCD and press OK when the name of the update is displayed.
Instructions (web-based): Download the most recent firmware update file from the EEG website or from the ‘Download DE285 Upgrade’ link in the Settings tab on the DE285 website and save it to a location on your computer. After downloading the firmware upgrade, navigate to the Settings tab on the DE285 website and click on the Browse button to the right of the File field, select the EEG firmware update and then click Submit to update the firmware.
When installation of the update is complete, the decoder will restart automatically.
